The Year of 2006 marks the 15th Anniversary of ASEAN-china Dialogue Relations and Year of ASEAN-China Friendship and Cooperation. According to the agreement of the 9th ASEAN-China Summit on 12 December 2006 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the two sides determined to convene a series of commemorative activities as following:

1. Publish the Final Report of the ASEAN-China Eminent Persons Group;

2. Print calendars and posters on the 15th Anniversary of ASEAN-China Dialogue Relations;

3. Publish a book on folklore from ASEAN Member Countries and China, which will be translated into different national languages;

4. Annual ASEAN-China youth camps;

5. ASEAN-China lecture series;

6. Conduct high-level international symposiums on ASEAN-China relations;

7. Publish an ASEAN-China Document Series 1991-2005;

8. Issue and distribute commemorative stamps and covers;

9. Organize ASEAN-China cultural tours in the capital cities of ASEAN Member Countries and China by rotation (one week in each country), particularly including activities of film festival, photo exhibition, art exhibition, concert, food festival, martial arts display, etc;

10. Conduct a joint culture performance and ASEAN-China symphony orchestra of young musicians in front of Angkor Wat;

11. Publish an ASEAN China reader;

12. Organize friendship sport activities, such as football friendship matches;

13. Produce TV documentaries introducing each other's economy, culture and social development, jointly or individual by the national TV stations of ASEAN Member Countries and China;

14. Organize a people-to-people exchange program to promote ASEAN-China cultural interactions at the grassroots level.
